Fanless Design and Wide Temperature Support
ARES-5310 is powered by Intel Apollo Lake-S processor. Intel’s new architecture offers high performance while providing low power consumption, Its fanless design makes dust accumulation avoidable and industrial-grade ARES-5310 comes with a wide operating temperature range from -20ºC to 70ºC, suitable for operations in harsh environments.
Designed for Connectivity
ARES-5310 has a compact design, with dimensions of only 180 x 125 x 70 mm. Its on-board 64GB of eMMC storage allows additional enclosure space for a 2.5 inch storage device. ARES-5310 also has two Mini-PCle slots to support additional SIM card modules. The new embedded controller’s two SIM card slots allow all vehicles or machines to stay networked when they travel across different countries over two types of communication bands.
ARES-5310 has E-Mark certification to meet the requirements of traffic safety and environmental protection for the provisions of EU directives and EEC regulations, making it ready for applications in the local markets anytime.
Extensive I/O Interfaces
ARES-5310 features versatile I/O interfaces and connectivity. It provides four COM ports (RS-232/422/485), one GbE LAN, two PoE ports, four USB 3.0, and four DI/O for real-time inspection, monitoring and surveillance at the same time. ARES-5310 also comes with both HDMI and VGA outputs to connect multiple monitors. Its ACC feature for power ignition delay timer secures all of information and data at work in case of power outages.
Thanks to ARES-5310 versatile mounting capabilities, the new embedded system is compatible with both DIN-rail mount and wall mount. The mounting capabilities allow ARES-5310 to be mounted to a wall or any other flat surfaces for a variety of applications.
In Europe, ARES-5310 is chosen as a transportation controller and driverless vehicle monitoring system. Its rich I/O interfaces can be networked to PoE-enabled cameras and GPS for vehicle tracking, driver behavior monitoring, and AI recognition. In Asia, as the edge computer for ANPR cameras at toll stations of national highways, ARES-5310 is selected to perform video analytic algorithms for video streaming, and to reduce computing load at the central server for automatic number-plate recognition on highways.
